Background
Skye Glover is a passionate mental health clinician with a strong background in education and counseling. Originally from Jacksonville, FL, she's had the opportunity to live, work and serve in diverse locations such as Florida, Washington State, South Korea, and currently, Texas. As an avid Jacksonville Jaguars fan, she proudly supports her hometown NFL team.
Skye's professional journey began in February 2016 when she embarked on a career in education. Starting as a dedicated teacher, driven by a desire to make a positive impact on young minds she recognized the importance of holistic support and transitioned into the role of a school counselor. This allowed her to provide guidance and support to students facing various challenges, empowering them to navigate through difficult situations.
Skye holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Florida International University, and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in School Counseling from the University of North Florida.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Glover is an avid traveler and enjoys exploring new destinations whenever possible. Immersing herself in different cultures broadens her perspective and helps her to better understand the world around her.
One of Ms. Glover's unique qualities is her ability to connect with clients effortlessly. Many of her clients find it easy to open up and share their thoughts and concerns after only a short period of time. This connection is built on a foundation of trust and genuine empathy, creating a therapeutic alliance that fosters growth and positive change.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor Skye offers individual counseling to support adolescents, adult individuals, parents, and couples in Texas, Idaho and Florida.
